SKU aliases

Aliases bridge POS product codes to catalogue SKUs by exact product name (or a direct code match when both systems use the same code). Unmapped POS SKUs below sell in-store but can never be recommended on the storefront until the catalogue or alias map catches up.

Mapped aliases

Search and filter the alias table. Use "Name matches only" to hide direct code matches — those are expected and less interesting for catalogue maintenance.

Unmapped POS SKUs

POS products that appear in basket lines but have no alias — sorted by quantity sold so the biggest gaps surface first. These sell in-store but cannot be recommended on the storefront.

Every POS sku that appears in basket lines currently has an alias. This is the ideal state.

Ambiguous product names

One product name maps to more than one catalogue SKU, so reco:skus:map deliberately writes no alias. Fix the catalogue duplicate or add a manual override outside this read-only screen.

Every shared product name currently maps to exactly one catalogue SKU.
